George Bateman & Son Ltd.

George Bateman & Sons is now a 4th generation family business established in 1874. Located in Wainfleet, Lincolnshire, Bateman’s employ over 100 staff and have a turnover in excess of £15 million.  Bateman’s own and manage an estate of over 70 Pubs and were judged Regional Brewer of the Year in 2010.

S.A. Brain & Co. Ltd.

As the No.1 Brewer in Wales, S.A. Brain & Co. Ltd are fiercely proud of their Welsh heritage and the fact they remain family owned. Founded in 1882 by Samuel Arthur Brain and his uncle Joseph Benjamin, S.A. Brain & Co. Ltd have been brewing beer in Wales’ capital for more than 135 years.  Today S.A. Brains & Co. Ltd are much more than just a brewery, although brands such as Brains SA and Dark Mild remain as popular now as they were back when, but have evolved into more of hospitality company with 236 owned and managed Pubs, as well as a coffee retail brand called Coffee #1, boasting more than 100 stores nationwide.  A lot may have changed since 1882, but their values remain the same.

Hook Norton Brewery

Established in 1849 by John Harris, Hook Norton Brewery is one of the oldest Regional Breweries in operation in the UK.  Still located at the same site using the same water source, Hook Norton Brewery remains family owned and independent, with James Clarke the 5th generation family member currently running the business.  The Victorian tower brewery at Hook Norton is still operational today and is internationally perceived as one of the iconic breweries in the World.

St. Austell Brewery

Established in 1851 by Walter Hicks, St Austell Brewery is one of the leading lights within the UK brewing industry today. St Austell Brewery have achieved double-digit growth for each of the last 10 years and have won countless National and International awards for quality. Their head Brewer, Roger Ryman, is the only brewer to have won UK Brewer of the Year twice and the only brewer to have won UK Champion Bottle Beer of the Year with two different beers (Proper Job & Admiral’s Ale). Whilst St Austell clearly has great history and heritage, it continues to build its reputation on the quality and craft of its beers.

T&R Theakston Ltd.

Established in 1827 at the Black Bull Inn & Brewhouse, the brewery is now based in Masham, N Yorkshire with the 5th generation of Theakston brewers. Theakstons has a proud tradition of brewing award-winning ales – the most famous of which is Theakstons Old Peculier. Theakston’s Old Peculier is arguably one of the world’s best known and respected Premium Ales, so much so, it is often simply referred to as THE LEGEND.

Wadworth & Co. Ltd.

Established in 1875 by Henry Wadworth, Wadworth beers are still brewed today at the original Northgate Brewery in Devizes, Wiltshire.  Henry Wadworth founded the Brewery with life-long friend and brother-in-law John Smith Bartholomew.  To this day his great grandson Charles Bartholomew is the current Chairman and Managing Director of the Wadworth Brewery.  With their own estate of 250 Pubs & Hotels, Wadworth serve the whole of Wiltshire, the Cotswolds and the South West.
